Over the past two nights we have heard sobering and inspiring words from planners, lawyers, activists, government officials, community members, artists, and economists.

In Andile Msizi Recreational Centre (Khayelitsha) and the City Hall (CBD) speakers and participates have discussed the challenges of Urban Land Justice in the City of Cape Town.  Some have spoken about their research and work in the sector while others have discussed their own personal experiences. Many have travelled substantial distances to take part in the discussions, a testament to the need to break the spatial fragmentation and segregation of the post-apartheid city.

Tonight  (November 19) the dialogue will be again hosted at Andile Msizi Recreational Centre (Khayelitsha). We will be discussing various ways to address the challenges of land and housing in the city.

Tomorrow (November 20) the dialogue will take place at the City Hall and we will be discussing international experiences and experimentations, some of which offer lessons for Cape Town.
