Bio
Razaz Basheir is a PhD candidate at the African Center for Cities, University of Cape Town, where she is combining engineering and urbanism in her interdisciplinary research on the CLAIMS to Energy Citizenship project. Her focus is on studying the hybridization of energy configurations in Sub-Saharan African cities, exploring techno-economics, governance, and the political economy surrounding these configurations.
