The Culture, Technology and Society cluster is a made up of an interdisciplinary collective of researchers and creative practitioners interested in four interconnected research areas: 1) the ways in which socio-cultural and technological infrastructures shape solidarities and socialities of urban residents; 2) the role of cultural politics and belonging in cities; 3) the ethics and politics of data, information and knowledge production in and for cities; and 4) creative modes and methods of conducting and mobilising research from African and southern perspectives.
