Bio
Khanya Mncwabe is a Research Officer at the African Centre for Cities. Prior to joining the African Centre for Cities, she held various research, advocacy and policy roles at the national, regional and continental level in Africa, engaging with a diverse range of communities and institutions. This facilitated contributions to varied research, intervention design, and policy processes; provision of technical expertise to African multilaterals; coordination of thematic networks; innovation and adaptation of monitoring, evaluation and learning methods to African contexts; and conquering the fear of publishing.
At ACC, she thrives in a multi-disciplinary research environment, which has allowed her to integrate and expand her research interests in ways that make their impact more discernible and meaningful.
