DESCRIPTION:The African Centre for Cities (ACC) and the global project managers Bauhaus Earth\, invite you to the Launch of the ReBuilt Demonstrator\, to be held at 16 on Lerotholi\, Langa\, on Sunday\, 26 October 2025. \nThe ReBuilt Demonstrator is both structure and statement. It is a living prototype for regenerative design and urban innovation. Developed through a research-led\, collaborative design process\, it showcases how sustainable materials\, circular building systems\, and community co-creation can advance more inclusive and ecological urban futures. \nAligned with Open Streets Langa\, this activation celebrates the intersection of research\, teaching\, and practice\, demonstrating how UCT’s innovation ecosystem translates knowledge into tangible public interventions. It also reflects the university’s ambition to connect its Faculties\, Research Centres\, and external partners through shared infrastructure and intent\, supporting pathways from prototype to practice. \nThe launch will include a brief walk-through of the Demonstrator followed by an informal celebratory networking session to explore how such initiatives can act as testbeds for innovation\, community engagement\, and regenerative urban development across Cape Town and beyond. \nRSVP here
